Colds and Flu
We all have experienced the common cold, as symptoms as sore throat, runny nose, aching body, cough, headache...etc. While colds are usually no big deal, persistent symptoms can signal a more serious problem such as bronchitis or sinus infection. The common cold usually run its course in 7 to 14days.
Colds and flu are caused by a virus invading the body. These viruses can enter the body through secretions of the body through secretions of the eyes or nose, as well as in the air. The symptoms of both the common cold and flu are often the same, because both are caused by the same family of respiratory viruses. The flu is usually more severe, develops quickly, and involves more of the body than a cold.
